Hi all and welcome to Mental Monday. My name is Lindsey Wilson. It's a mindset coach Academy podcast, you are here because you want to improve yourself. And you know that training your mindset is the way to do that. I want to give you a little bit of love this morning, and also some tough love.
So I want you to really take a second and get excited about your future. And more importantly, get excited that now that you are training your brain, that what you want to accomplish is going to be so much easier and simpler. And you can let go of all the drama and the emotions and the mental obstacles and blocks that are really a natural way that our brain keeps us safe.
But they hold us back. And often when people start this work, it's not that, you know accomplishing things and being successful, so easy. It's easier. It's easier when you're not layering and all this stuff. So I want you to get excited about that. But I also want to give you some tough love.
And I want you to give yourself a little kick in the butt. And remind yourself that “I don't know how” is not an obstacle. It's not figured out. “I'm confused” is not an obstacle. You are a smart person that can figure it out. I'm overwhelmed. Also not an obstacle. That is a mindset shift. You can take action today.
And you can just refuse to be confused. You can just refuse to be overwhelmed. You can just refuse to stay in the idea that you don't know how that is not taking agency for your life. That is not giving yourself self-respect, that you can figure things out, that you are a smart person, that you have access to the internet and resources, and people in your life that if you just asked, you could figure it out.
So it's kind of giving yourself that little inner umph of like, I'm not going to use those excuses and those obstacles because they're not real. They're just a way to stay small. They're just a way to not show up. They're just a way to sit back and let life happen to you. And that's not who you are.
So today. Take it out of your mind right now. Imagine it like a bubble bursting. I don't know how it's bursting. I'm confused, it's bursting. I'm overwhelmed. It's bursting, clearing your mind, and just not allowing those thoughts to run your life is really freeing.
And believe me, when you do that, you will find the path forward. Just one step. That's it, you will find a path forward. Alright guys, I don't know how not acceptable I'm confused, not acceptable. I'm overwhelmed, not acceptable. Just get out of your mind. And your day will be different.
